Gameplay Tips[]

  • One of the Commander's highest priorities is to coordinate and participate in the construction of Garrisons. This can be accomplished by the use of supply trucks, supply drops, and friendly Support roles.
  • Another important aspect of the Commander role is resource management. A frivolous Commander may find themselves lacking in resources at a crucial moment in the game, and a stingy Commander can starve his team of valuable intelligence and firepower.
    • The task of managing resources can be made simpler if resource nodes are constructed by friendly Engineers, as they can more than double the Commander's resource income. This will also allow the Commander to utilize their most powerful abilities more often. So, it may be wise to encourage the unit leaders to facilitate their construction.
    • Another useful tool is the Commander's ability to convert between resource types via the tactical map. This is especially useful when the Commander has an abundance of a one resource and a shortage of another. However, one should keep in mind the net loss in resources incurred by this ability.
