Danzig is a map set to appear in Hell Let Loose.

It was supposed to be created after the 2023 Roadmap Reveal in Developer Briefing #183. It was teased again in the 2025 Roadmap as a "Eastern Front" map, confirmed to be in development in Developer Brief #202 with the Danzig Post Office, and updated further in Developer Briefing #204

Historical Summary[]

The Battle of Danzig, more known as the Battle of Westerplatte, was the first battle of the Second World War. It took place on the 1st of September to the 7th. The Objective Mode has a smaller map based on the Defense of the Polish Post Office in Danzig, where 56 postmen defended the post office against 180 German police officers.

Objective Mode[]

The Battle of Danzig's Objective Mode has a map the size of 400m squared. All information is taken from Developer Briefing #204

Forces[]

British Forces (Placeholder) (Defenders)

German Army (Attackers)

Win Conditions:[]

British Forces (Defenders)

  • Allow the 33 minute timer to elapse with the generators intact (Phase 1)
  • Prevent the Danzig Post Office Capture Point from being captured within the allotted time (Phase 2)

German Forces (Attackers)

  • Destroy the generators within the allotted time (Phase 1)
  • Capture the Danzig Post Office within the allotted time (Phase 2)

Phase #1 - Generators[]

There are 2 generators placed in the Post Office and adjacent Police Station. In the first phase, the attackers must destroy both of these. It is left up to the players to decide how to achieve this, as both generators can be destroyed in any order.

Phase #2 - Danzig Post Office Capture Point[]

For phase #2 the objective for the German Forces is simply to capture and secure the Danzig Post Office, whilst the British must defend it. The Capture Point behaves like Offensive, once it is captured, the match is over.
