The Karabiner 98k (Kar-98k) is a bolt-action rifle featured in Hell Let Loose. It is the standard issue rifle for the German faction.
When matched against the semi-automatic M1 Garand, the Kar-98k's slow and cumbersome bolt-action can leave the player at a disadvantage in some situations. However, the Kar-98k is very capable at longer ranges. It is a rare occurrence to not down an enemy in a single shot. If the clip is fully expended, it is reloaded using a stripper clip with the full five rounds. Otherwise, the rounds will be loaded individually.
