The M4A3E2 "Jumbo" Sherman is a heavy Sherman tank featured in Hell Let Loose. It is distinguished by its flat frontal armor and shorter 75mm cannon.
The M4A3E2 75mm Sherman is the smaller caliber heavy tank used by US forces in Hell Let Loose. While the US forces have access to more tanks than the German forces, the short 75mm gun on the Sherman has trouble engaging Tiger and Panther tanks from the front, therefore these tanks should be engaged from the sides and "rear".
Like most other tanks in Hell Let Loose, the Sherman should be used at mid to long range because of its slow turret rotation as well as its weak side and rear armor.
Armament[]
The M4A3E2 75mm features a 75mm gun M3 for its main cannon. This gun is quite capable of engaging enemy medium and light armor. To take down enemy Tigers or Panthers, the crew must use their superior speed and agility to flank them as the 75mm gun cannot penetrate the frontal armor of a Tiger I or Panther. AP, HE, and Smoke shells are available for use, with AP being more effective against armor and HE being more effective against infantry with its large splash damage.
The M4 also features two Browning M1919 machine guns, one mounted on the hull and controlled by the Tank Driver and the other fixed onto the turret controlled by the Tank Gunner. They have an ammo capacity of 200 rounds before needing to reload with a total of 5 boxes of ammo, allowing you to put a steady barrage of fire on infantry.
