The M8 Greyhound is an American recon vehicle featured in Hell Let Loose.
With its light armament, this vehicle is suited to monitoring enemy movements and eliminating infantry. It is also capable of carrying two additional infantry at a time, allowing for rapid deployment onto the battlefield. It can be effectively used against enemy recon squads - travelling quickly through friendly territory, destroying them and their outposts.
Armament[]
The M8 Greyhound features a 37mm Gun M3 for its main cannon, this gun is capable of engaging enemy infantry and light armor. Both AP and HE shells are available for use, with HE being more effective against infantry with its large splash damage.
The M8 Greyhound also features a Browning M1919 machine gun fixed onto the turret, which is controlled by the Tank Gunner. It has an ammo capacity of 200 rounds before needing to reload with a total of 7 boxes of ammo, allowing you to put a steady barrage of suppressive fire on enemy infantry.
Radio[]
While in the commanders seat, the player has access to a Radio. By pointing the viewfinder at enemy positions and pressing the 'Fire' key, you will take a snapshot of the battlefield. The enemy positions in view will be displayed on the map as recon observations for other officers and the commander.
