The Mosin-Nagant 1891 is a Russian bolt-action rifle featured in Hell Let Loose. Available only to the Soviet Rifleman Level I loadout, the Mosin-Nagant 1891 is a capable mid-to-long range weapon. It functions almost identically to the Mosin-Nagant 91/30 rifle that is available in many more Red Army loadouts, with the only difference being a different iron sight visual.
The Mosin-Nagant 1891 is the original variant of the Mosin-Nagant rifle, which has not been modernized to the 1930 standard of the Mosin-Nagant 91/30. The 1930 modernization adjusted the rifle's iron sights, reduced the barrel length, and made other minor simplifications that made it easier and cheaper to manufacture.
