The Opel Blitz is a German truck featured in Hell Let Loose.
There are two variants of the transport truck, the Supply Truck and the Transport Truck.
Supply Truck[]
The Supply Truck is the closed topped variant of the German truck. The purpose of this truck is to deliver supplies from HQ to the front lines. A team can have no more than three supply trucks at any given time.
The supply truck carries two supply crates that it may drop off behind the truck, after which time the truck can be refilled at the Ammo Depot located at the friendly HQ. Each supply crate contains 150 supplies.
Aside from the driver, the supply truck can carry 1 additional passenger. Any role may drive or ride in the vehicle.
Supply trucks were added as of Update 8 "Red Ball Express."
Restrictions[]
- In the Warfare game mode, supply trucks cannot drop supplies in the two rows/columns nearest to the friendly HQ.
- When attacking in the Offensive game mode, supply trucks cannot drop supplies in the two rows/columns nearest to the friendly HQ unless it is still enemy territory.
- When defending in the Offensive game mode, supply trucks cannot drop supplies in the sector (that is, the 2x2 grid space) associated with the final objective.
- Supplies cannot be dropped if there is an object blocking the rear of the truck.
Transport Truck[]
The Transport Truck is the open topped variant of the German truck. The purpose of this truck is to transport large number of troops around the map.
Aside from the driver, the transport truck can carry 11 additional passengers. Any role may drive or ride in the vehicle.
