The StG 44 (Sturmgewehr 44) is an automatic rifle featured in Hell Let Loose, utilized by the German Army. It is the default weapon of the German Automatic Rifleman Level I loadout. It is also available to the German Assault Level 9 loadout.
The StG 44 is the German counterpart of the American M1918A2 BAR, and is very similar. Compared to the BAR, the StG 44 has a larger magazine capacity (30 rounds compared to 20) and a slightly faster rate of fire. It it best suited for close- to medium-range engagements.
Like all automatic rifles, the StG 44 has enough stopping power to kill enemy infantry in 1 hit to the torso at a distance of up to 100 meters. It will require 2 hits at further distances.
