The Tetrarch is a tank featured in Hell Let Loose. It is the light tank used by the Allies in Driel.
With its light armament, this vehicle is suited to eliminating infantry. Thanks to its impressive turning radius it can be used to flank the enemy in narrow areas such as towns and villages.
History[]
Production of the Tetrarch began in 1940. Its armor soon proved to be too weak and only 177 units were initially produced. During the Normandy landings on D-Day, several Tetrarchs were flown in to provide operational support.
Armament[]
The Tetrarch features a QF 2-Pounder for its main cannon. This 40mm gun is capable of engaging light armor. Both AP and HE shells are available for use, with HE being more effective against infantry with its large splash damage.
The Tetrarch also features one Besa 7.92mm machine gun, fixed onto the turret, which is controlled by the tank gunner. The tank driver does not have a machine gun on this tank. The gun has an ammo capacity of 200 rounds before needing to reload with a total of 5 boxes of ammo.
